Terms & Conditions for ₦100,000 Cash Prize Competition:
1. Eligibility
– Participants must be registered attendees of the ‘Digital Deception: The Rise of Online Scams in Nigeria & Beyond‘ conference.
– Participants must be employed or affiliated with an organization operating within Nigeria.
– Only individuals who have submitted a complete and original 500-word email entry will be considered.
2. Entry Submission
– Your email entry must include: full name; company name; motivation for attending the conference; commitment to data protection and cybersecurity awareness; and why you should be considered.
– Submission must be made to info@nethostnigerialimited.ng.
– Deadline for submissions is Friday, June 06, 2025. Late entries will not be considered.
3. Selection Criteria
A review panel from NetHost Nigeria Limited will assess all entries based on:
– Authenticity and clarity of motivation
– Demonstrated commitment to cybersecurity and data protection
– Potential impact within your organization and industry
4. Winner Requirements
– Selected winners must:
– Participate in an interview session during the conference.
– Consent to follow-up interviews at their respective organizations at a later date.
– Sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between NetHost Nigeria Limited and their employer/company granting:
– Permission to document and record their experiences
– Permission to share narratives and success stories across media channels
– Commit to implementing cybersecurity and data protection best practices within their organization.
5. Prize Details
– Each selected winner will receive a ₦100,000 cash prize, presented on the day of the conference (June 19, 2025).
– Winners must be physically present at the event to receive their prize.
– Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
6. Use of Content
– By accepting the prize, winners agree that NetHost Nigeria Limited may:
– Publicly highlight and share their participation, success stories, and implementation efforts.
– Use photographs, videos, and interviews from the event and subsequent visits for promotional and educational purposes.
7. Disqualification
– Failure to to sign the MOU will result in forfeiture of the cash prize.
– Misrepresentation of information or failure to comply with the outlined requirements will lead to disqualification.
8. Other Conditions
– NetHost Nigeria Limited reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
– Decisions made by the review panel are final and binding.
